The Origin and Inerrancy of the Bible

The Origin and Inerrancy of the Bible

How do we know we can trust the Bible? After all, it was written so long ago and none of us were there to witness the events. As Christians, we believe the original manuscript of the Bible is without error, but how do we know that our current copies are still true to the original? The ability to trust God’s Word and what it teaches us about God’s character and His plan for our lives is foundational to an unshakable faith that is based in logic.

In this series, we will look at: 1) what sets the Bible apart from every other literary work, 2) what does it mean that the Bible is inspired and who decided what books would be included, 3) by what process was the Bible copied throughout ancient history, and 4) how can we use the bibliographical test, external evidence test, and internal evidence test to prove the old and new testaments are historically reliable.
